About Simon

Hailing from the North West of England, I skied regularly in Scotland, occasionally in the Peak District, and then on numerous family holidays in Europe. With two ski bum seasons in Park City, Utah in the 90s, and having worked in various ski shops as a ski tech, skiing is definitely in the blood. I moved to Chamonix in 2002 and this led me to becoming a ski instructor.

Qualified through the British BASI Level 4 ISTD (International Ski Teacher Diploma) with the full French equivalence (including the Eurotest) which equates to the BEES 1 - therefore fully legal and insured to teach on or off-piste anywhere in France.

I’m also a French National and  'as good as' bilingual.
