Skiing Chamonix
Book your private ski lesson in the Chamonix Valley
Chamonix is the birthplace of European alpinism. It’s a town nestling deep in a valley, under the shadow of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi and offers fantastic views. It is a town that operates all months of the year, not like other ski resorts that close once the snow disappears. The views are spectacular, and if you’re a mountain lover, the options of hiking, climbing and skiing are endless.
However, as it’s a town, the ski areas are not always close by and a car drive, a bus ride or maybe a train ride are necessary to access the base stations. This might not be for everyone - you have been warned - but if you’re going, the skiing is phenomenal.
There are 4 ski areas in Chamonix (Brevent, La Flégère, Le Tour-La Balme and Les Grands Montets) and then also Les Houches, which make it 5 in the valley. Some ski areas are better than others for certain aspects of learning to ski, get in touch for more information as to where to go.
